2. Carefully consider the day of the week and time on which you send your email. Monday is rated the worst day to send emails, as studies show people are typically not in a good mood on that day. As the week goes on, people's dispositions tend to improve, and in the special event and hospitality industry with so many out of the office Fridays through Sundays, the best time to send emails that will be well-received are Thursdays. We are not suggesting you save all your emailing for Thursdays, but if there is a subject that is delicate, you may wish to wait on sending that particular email until later in the week.
The best time for sending emails is so that they arrive at the top of the recipient's inbox in the morning when they are fresh (as opposed to social media when the best time to post for maximum engagement is 4:30-5:30pm in the timezone of the majority of your followers).
