Inspiration for a 20th Business Anniversary & Rebranding | First Stages

So often in the wedding and special events industry, we see write-ups and features of lovely events after they have all come together.  I thought it would be fun to journal a bit of the pre-event planning that is taking place for a client's upcoming 20 Year Anniversary Celebration.  We can't give away too many details, as much of the end result is intended to be a surprise.  Many of my clients ask me what we do at Engaging Inspiration for businesses when it comes to producing their events.  The answer is that it can be as simple or as involved as the client wishes.  In this case, we are collaborating with other event partners on the event aspect and then lending heavier focus to the PR/Marketing, social media, media and branding areas.

Client:  Catering Connection, a Full-Service, Santa Barbara -based catering company

What:  Re-branding in conjunction with a celebratory 20th Anniversary Soiree

How:   Through a simultaneous approach, we created a marketing, social media and press strategy

consistent with the client's goals.  The whole tone was set with an e-Invitation to a private soiree hosting clients, vendors and personal friends and family.  The e-Invitation contained verbiage in the "voice" of our client (Irish and conveying a sense of fun) and featured their new logo. We also supported their re-brand efforts with overseeing part of the layout and copy of their new Website, helping take their business into their next 20 + successful years.

Details:  Since our client is already in the industry, they had all the perfect event supply partners right at their fingertips, including:

Catering and Venue:  At their own culinary studios in Santa Barbara, CA, where their facility (including the

parking lot) will be transformed into a two-area party with two distinct areas and some fun surprises along the way. The most important thing to me for any event is always the "wow" factor when guests first arrive.  "You never have a second chance to make a first impression" is the way one makes a memorable impact on guests. We are excited to have some inspired "wow" factor as guests arrive to this special event.
